CityAxis Spring/Summer 2016 Review

CityAxis started 2016 very well, with 7 new school projects:

 

LEA School, East London, phase 3 - interesting Project, April 2016 start, part-New Build, part-Refurbishment Extension: Completion of Internal Refurbishment (Level 1), Demolition & Removal of Level 5, Construction of double volume School Hall/Assembly Facility complete with requirements for Sports provision.

Ivy House School, London – exciting Project transforming Cultural Centre into a new School, to open Sep’16. Extensive External & Internal Refurbishment, Modifications to the Main Building, Upgrades/Floor Strengthening, Roof repairs, New M&E, External Grounds and Fencing.

Wetherby Senior School, London – 3 Phase Transformation of Commercial Office Space into New School: Fast-Track, Full Cat A/Cat B Refurbishment Works

Alma Primary School, North London – Design & Build of New co-educational Free School in a former Police Station: Refurbishment of main Building, Demolition of existing Cell Block, New-Build Extension incorporating Hall/Kitchen/WCs, soft & hard Landscaping of Outside Space.

Park Community School, London – 3 Phase Project: Transformation of 1930’s former Sports & Social Club Building into Expanding School

Gems Primary Academy, Twickenham – exciting D&B Refurbishment Project of 1980’s Office Building (3 floors) to provide 420 places Two-Form Entry Primary School for Sep’16 Start.

Abbey College, Cambridge – Refurbishment of Block A (turnkey) and Block B (Cat A) of Commercial Building.
